Osteopathy Helped Me Heal
Like so many osteopaths, I chose to study osteopathy after receiving very successful osteopathic treatment myself, for severe wrist & shoulder pain, allowing me to continue with my previous career as a musician and music teacher.
Cranial Osteopathy
I graduated, after 4 years study, in 2012, from the British School of Osteopathy, with a Masters degree in Osteopathy. I attend regular ongoing post-graduate professional development to continue improving my skills in cranial osteopathy.
Always Learning More
I deepen my knowledge and skills studying with Christian Sullivan on the Traditional Osteopathy (Biodynamics) programme, and I continue to develop my experience in the treatment of horses and other large animals.
The Joy of Being Able to Help
As well as general practice, I enjoy treating children, from newborn to teenager; arthritis sufferers; & the problems arising from repetitive strain, particularly in musicians. I love transforming the desire to help into an action.
Outside of work I love to walk in wild places, sleep outside and travel.
I have a wife, a son, I drive mules when I can, and, thanks to osteopathic treatment, I still play unlistenable to music on the hurdy-gurdy!

Osteopaths work to restore the structure and function of the body to a state of balance and harmony, so helping the whole person.
What is Cranial Osteopathy?
Cranial osteopathy is a refined and subtle type of osteopathic treatment that encourages the release of stresses and tensions throughout the body, including the head. It is a gentle yet extremely effective approach and may be used in a wide range of conditions for people of all ages, from birth to old age. Osteopaths have different specialities including sports injuries, paediatrics, and visceral osteopathy (treating the internal organs of the body). Cranial osteopathy embraces all of these.
